Savvee EA - Information Support Plan
Development
|
Savvee Consulting, as a part of our Enterprise
Architecture expertise, has been on the leading edge of
Information Support Plan (ISP) Development.
Savvee has been a leader within
the Navy in the development of
major program ISPs and providing guidance to the systems
engineering competency on ISP development methodologies
and processes.
Savvee has supported the
development of Integrated Architectures and ISPs through
Use Case Analysis and mapped all activities to the
Mission Essential and Functional Tasks Lists.
Savvee has supported the
development and configuration management of all
architecture products required under
the Department
of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) conforming to
appropriate style guides, provided horizontal
integration assessments, and has provided technical
writing support and development of the P-8A Information
Support Plan interim deliveries required
under the JCIDS process.
Savvee is well
versed in the DoDAF and has developed full DoDAF
architectures using both IDEF and UML.
Savvee is experienced with a range
of modeling tools to include Visio, Rational Rose,
Telelogic System Architect and Enterprise Architect.
Savvee has lead and supported all
aspects of ISP development including:
•
Mission analysis
• Use Case development and analysis
• DoDAF architecture product
development
• Capability and technology gap
analysis
• Comment resolution, CJCS (J-6)
coordination and briefing
• ISP text, content development and
configuration management
• Coordination with appropriate
Communities of Interest
• Horizontal Integration Analysis
with critical platform Program
Offices
• Technology and Policy issue
development
• Net Ready KPP compliance.
With our comprehensive
practice using the DoDAF, Savvee has documented a
methodology for developing compliant artifacts.
Through lessons-learned, industry
best practices, and hands on experience, Savvee has
documented processes to effectively implement EA within
an organization.
Our approach ensures that only
artifacts that need to be produced are developed and
that they are produced in an efficient sequence.
Using a multi-dimensional analysis
methodology, our ISP reviewers conduct complete
interoperability and supportability assessments, ensure
architecture integration, and confirm compliance with
required DoD and CJCS policies and instructions as well
as ensuring required capability compliance.
Issues
that are generated as a result of ISP analyses are sent
to the JCPAT-E website for mitigation by the Program
Offices where further analysis and visualization occurs.
Additionally, our ISP reviewers
conduct Net-Centric Assessments to verify that programs
are developing a path toward net-centricity through
adherence to the DoD Net-Centric Data Management
Strategy, development of a migration strategy to IPv6,
and compliance with the NCOW-RM, GIG KIPS, and DoD
Information Assurance requirements.
